Tens days of silence and pain

The last days of silence have one explanation. On the 23rd of November, I applied for a Vipassana meditation retreat at the Northern Insight Meditation Center in Wat Rampoeng Temple. For ten days, I submitted myself to what I believe became the greatest challenge of my life. It was an extremely painful experience, both physically and mentally, but at the same time revealing and enlightening. I am not a changed man, but I do look a bit weirder. My bus towards Laos departs in a matter of minutes. I promisse to write a detailled post about my experience at the temple, as soon as I reach Chiang Rai.
